Good Busy

I am busy, but good busy. I think. Idle hands = idle heart = idle life. So, I am hurriedly trying to stock my Etsy shop, my local shop, my inventory for the upcoming market season and, potentially, for an awesome shop in Maryland called Artspring. Building up my stock while building stock in myself! I'm excitedly expanding my line to sort of more of what the original vision for Blackbeary Mountain was. Hubby has an upcoming project which means he'll be out of the loop for a while but when he's back in the game we will have a shiny, new scroll saw to put into action creating beautiful toys for beautiful little people to play with. SO excited about that! I love sculpting with wool but I need a little variety in my life, too! Wood is sooo fun! Can't let the guys have all the fun, ya know? So, anyway, all this while trying to be a loving, availible mama means I'm one super tired, loving, availible woman. But my heart is not idle.... it's all warm and fuzzy and racy scary sorta way. Yay!

Taking the Leap

Here it is. My little blog about my life and my business and my passion to find passion.

I love my life, I really do.... except when I don't! I am a wife & mama with an artist's heart. Any of you out there who stay at home with your children may be willing to admit that it is a beautiful, difficult, exciting, challenging, unglamorous, rewarding, enriching, demeaning experience! It is a life that allows you to find yourself by being for others, if you are willing to be honest with yourself. There are many days that many of us wake up wondering what it might be like if we had taken the other road. But I say, look for the beauty in the road you're on. Always turning around you may miss the wonder that's next to you on the path. In other words, change your view & you may just find that the road you are on is, in fact, the right one leading you in the direction you've always needed to go.

Bon voyage!
